We Design for Mobile Plaforms.

What Is Mobile Responsive Design?
When a website is responsive, the layout and/or content responds or adapts based on the size of screen they are presented on.

A responsive website automatically changes to fit the device you’re reading it on. Mobile responsive design is all about automatically delivering your audience the content they want, within the context that they’re viewing it.

Why Should I Care About Mobile Responsive Design?
In short, you should care because you want the visitors to your website to have the best experience possible, without forcing them to adapt themselves.

Mobile Responsive Design is The Future of The Web
It is revolutionary for online publishers, because (for most) responsive design eliminates the need for multiple versions of your site, or expensive app development and maintenance.

One website, multiple versions.

Professional Email Only Packages

In business, maintaining a professional image is important for keeping your customers’ trust and appearing credible online. When potential or existing customers contact you with questions, or if you reach out to them or to other businesses, using an address like definitely looks more professional than but routing your email through your business’s domain name shows that your business is well-established and genuine, and is likely to make customers feel more comfortable dealing with you.

Search Engine Optimisation

What goes into SEO?

To understand what SEO really means, let’s break that sentence down and look at the parts:

Quality of traffic. You can attract all the visitors in the world, but if they’re coming to your site because Google tells them you’re a resource for Apple computers when really you’re a farmer selling apples, that is not quality traffic. Instead you want to attract visitors who are genuinely interested in products that you offer.
Quantity of traffic. Once you have the right people clicking through from those search engine results pages (SERPs), more traffic is better.
Organic results. Ads make up a significant portion of many SERPs. Organic traffic is any traffic that you don’t have to pay for.

How SEO works

You might think of a search engine as a website you visit to type (or speak) a question into a box and Google, Yahoo!, Bing, or whatever search engine you’re using magically replies with a long list of links to web pages that could potentially answer your question. That’s true. But have you ever stopped to consider what’s behind those magical lists of links?

Here’s how it works: Google (or any search engine you’re using) has a crawler that goes out and gathers information about all the content they can find on the Internet. The crawlers bring all those 1s and 0s back to the search engine to build an index. That index is then fed through an algorithm that tries to match all that data with your query.

The majority of web traffic is driven by the major commercial search engines, Google, Bing, and Yahoo!. Although social media and other types of traffic can generate visits to your website, search engines are the primary method of navigation for most Internet users. This is true whether your site provides content, services, products, information, or just about anything else.

Search engines are unique in that they provide targeted traffic—people looking for what you offer. Search engines are the roadways that make this happen. If search engines cannot find your site, or add your content to their databases, you miss out on incredible opportunities to drive traffic to your site.

Search queries—the words that users type into the search box—carry extraordinary value. Experience has shown that search engine traffic can make (or break) an organisation’s success. Targeted traffic to a website can provide publicity, revenue, and exposure like no other channel of marketing. Investing in SEO can have an exceptional rate of return compared to other types of marketing and promotion.

Why can’t the search engines figure out my site without SEO?

Search engines are smart, but they still need help. The major engines are always working to improve their technology to crawl the web more deeply and return better results to users. However, there is a limit to how search engines can operate. Whereas the right SEO can net you thousands of visitors and increased attention, the wrong moves can hide or bury your site deep in the search results where visibility is minimal.

In addition to making content available to search engines, SEO also helps boost rankings so that content will be placed where searchers will more readily find it. The Internet is becoming increasingly competitive, and those companies who perform SEO will have a decided advantage in visitors and customers.

Affordable Web Design is not just about a pretty website, its about showing the world your brand in a clear, concise and usable manner.

  • How much does a website cost?

Well, the answer is: it varies. Our basic one page websites start at just €500.

    • What is a one page website?

Simply put, a one page website is a single page website that utilizes just one web page. Most one page websites do have menu bars like your average, run-of-the-mill website. Yet rather than transport you to different  pages, selecting a menu item merely drops users down to a section somewhere on the site’s single page. This makes it easier for your users to navigate and avoids confusion. One page websites are quicker to deploy and generally easier to maintain. In fact, this website is an example of a One Page site!

    • What if I want something more?

If you’re looking for more, Rua had many other options so feel free to drop me a line if you want to know more.

    Project Research

    Let’s Work Together

My Name is Niamh and I am Rua. Born and bred in Ballyhack, Co. Wexford. Moved to Waterford for college back in ’98. Lived and worked there till 2010 then moved back to Wexford.

If you had have asked me in 2016, would I be running my own business, I’d have probably laughed at you! But here we are.
It’s pretty much an accident that I ended up working in this field. After I was made redundant from Next back in 2010, I returned to education at the ripe old age of 30. I completed a FETAC Level 5 in Business and Computers followed by a Level 6 in Business Studies. In the summer of 2012, I answered an ad in the local paper looking for a digital marketing intern in local tech start-up Scurri. I got the job and started on a new path.

After a few years, my time in Scurri ended. At this stage, I knew I wanted to work in the industry but I also kind of fancied being my own boss. I knew what I had to do and I set myself a timeline. I started and finished my degree in Digital Design and Technology (with flying colours!).

In 2017, I set the wheels in motion to start my own business helping small businesses get online with affordable websites. It took me a while to think of a name. I wanted something that meant something to me, that I was connected to. I had an epiphany while out walking my dog Rua Bua and the name Rua Digital Web Design popped into my head.
